Allie Shamberger

My name is Allie Shamberger – a Communications and Media Studies major with a Marketing minor at Roger Williams University. I’m from Saratoga Springs, NY, and a junior on the RWU women’s lacrosse team.

I’m passionate about creativity, leadership, and connecting with others, and I hope to one day start my own marketing business like my dad, who inspires me in both life and career.

Off the field and outside the classroom, I love working out, spending time with family and friends, taking long walks, and grabbing coffee at local spots in Bristol. I stay motivated by staying active and surrounding myself with positive, uplifting people.

Student Athlete

Being a student-athlete in college can be challenging but also really rewarding. It means having to balance schoolwork, practices, games, and everything else that comes with college life. Time management is super important because you have to stay on top of classes while also being committed to your sport. It can get stressful at times, but having a good routine, support from teammates and coaches, and staying organized really helps. Even though it’s a lot, it teaches you discipline and makes you stronger in the long run.

Time Managment

Balance

Time management is a huge part of being a student-athlete because you’re always trying to keep up with classes, practices, games, and still have a social life. It can definitely get overwhelming at times, but figuring out a routine that works makes a big difference. It’s not always perfect, but it teaches you how to stay on track and handle a busy schedule, which is actually super helpful for the future.
